Farmers and owners of small agricultural enterprises are increasingly suffering from raider attacks in Ukraine, said Verkhovna Rada MP Artyom Vitko.
According to the lawyer, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine over the past 5 years has registered about 2 thousand. Every year, the number of such cases is growing.
Raiding is a threat to all of Ukraine. It weakens the economy of the country, reduces its investment attractiveness. To change the situation, Artyom Vitko filed for registration the corresponding bill.Now the issue of involvement of state registrars in raider attacks has become widespread. Officials voluntarily or involuntarily become links in the criminal chain of raiding, says the deputy.
Based on the Code of Ukraine on administrative offenses, persons caught in such actions are punishable by a fine from 3500 to 8500 UAH.On May 15, 2019, deputy Artyom Vitko registered a bill under No. 102903, which strengthens the responsibility of state registrars for violations during state registration.
The amount of the fine for illegal actions in accordance with the new bill may increase to 85 thousand UAH, sums up Artyom Vitko.
