In a year, a unique object will appear on the territory of the Russian Federation. This is the first farm in the country that will specialize in the cultivation of Atlantic salmon fish.

It is reported that an unprecedented complex will be built in the vast Vologda Oblast by the end of 2020. According to the organizers of the project, the production capacity of the enterprise will be able to ensure the production of two and a half thousand tons of Atlantic salmon annually.

Project curators inform that the new farm will be equipped with a closed-loop water supply system. The territory occupied by the complex exceeds two hectares.

It should be added that the project would not have been possible if it had not been for the support of investors from Israel - the resources of the AquaMaof company have helped.

It is important to emphasize that the total amount of investments in the project exceeds two billion rubles according to preliminary data.

However, large amounts of investors are not scared, and in the near future they intend to allocate funds to expand the farm. In particular, it is planned to build a second farm with a capacity of five thousand tons annually.

In addition, negotiations are already underway regarding the construction of fish processing plants and the production of fish feed.
