Be that as it may, Kirov farmers manage to procure a sufficient amount of feed annually, which every year allows, among other factors, to improve the genetics of the regional herd of cattle.
High-quality nutrition increases the productivity of cows and other representatives of cattle, so Kirov farmers approach the process of harvesting feed with maximum responsibility.
It is known that this year in the Kirov region they plan to stock up on two million tons of succulent feed and two hundred thousand tons of hay.
At the moment, managed to mow about three thousand hectares of perennial grasses and to harvest a little less than six thousand tons of feed.
