The fire, destroying everything in its path, broke out on one of the livestock farms in the Sverdlovsk region. We are talking about the pig farm "Ural", which is located in the urban district of Bogdanovich.As a result of ignition due to smoke, 600 piglets and more than fifty sows were killed.

According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Sverdlovsk Region, the fire occurred on the territory of the reproduction workshop. The elements of the ventilation supply system were ignited, and the fire embraced more than two square meters of the workshop.

Despite the fact that the automatic warning system worked instantly, it was not possible to save the animals caught in the epicenter of the tragedy.

It is noteworthy that in none of the workshop personnel was injured. There is information that during the fire, two employees of the pig complex were in the room. However, they managed to independently leave the epicenter of events and escape. Rescue personnel quickly arrived at the scene. They managed to localize the flame and put out the fire for nine minutes.

According to preliminary data, the emergency at which the farm’s electrical equipment functioned could be the cause of the fire at the Uralsky pig farm.
