Tambov agrarians provided the country with the first harvest of a specialty potato, from which they would prepare a single dish - french fries. The customer of the full batch of harvest is the world-famous McDonald's chain of fast-food restaurants.
“From now on, we will offer visitors to our Russian restaurants a beloved dish made from domestic potatoes,” the McDonald’s office in Russia emphasized.

The farmers did everything possible so that the potato yield did not become a hostage to the vagaries of nature. The result was a generous crop of vegetables, which will soon be in the kitchens of Russian McDonald's.
“The experience was successful, project organizers say. “And now we plan to plant as much as 1,650 hectares of land as a vegetable for further cooking fries.”
Potato irrigation will be carried out artificially.
