Leading experts of the Andalusian Agricultural University and the Institute of Agricultural Technology of Almeria recently showed the world their amazing joint invention.
It is known that the Spanish developers managed to create a unique biologically active fertilizer of environmentally friendly origin, which is based on vegetable waste from tomatoes.
According to the creators of the new fertilizer, it is able to create excellent plant protection against attack by most pathogenic organisms known to mankind and other microscopic pests.
Spanish experimenters admitted that chance helped them create effective fertilizer. During the study of the properties of tomatoes, scientists noticed that if you treat the plant residues of tomatoes with radiation, which destroys all bacteria and parasites, then tomato waste can be an excellent help for farmers.
The new fertilizer as an experiment was applied to a bed of tomatoes in one of the Spanish greenhouse complexes, and the results of this experiment pleased both the scientists themselves and the employees of the greenhouse complex.
It is noteworthy that in the greenhouses the same climatic regime was maintained as in the fields of Almeria during the high season of active vegetation and ripening of tomatoes.
It turned out that fertilizer helps not only protect crops from pests. But it also helps to preserve, and in some cases even increase yield indicators. As soon as the fertilizer receives all the necessary certificates, they will begin to process beds with tomatoes, cucumbers and solanaceous greenhouses in Spanish complexes.
