According to representatives of the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, agrarians of the Crimean peninsula have begun harvesting their first crop from grain fields.
Employees of agricultural companies of the Leninsky district were among the first to join the large-scale harvest.
For example, it is known that the farmers of Vostok Limited Liability Company have already managed to harvest at least forty tons of barley planted on eleven hectares of land during the winter sowing campaign.
Based on the volume of harvested crops, it can be concluded that the productivity of these territories was thirty-seven centners per hectare.
Also, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture reports that the agrarians of the Crimean Republic have a crucial task - to get a crop from the fields with a total area of seven hundred forty thousand hectares at the end of the season.
It is noteworthy that five hundred seventy-four thousand hectares of the indicated area are occupied by grain crops and leguminous plants.
Analysts of the agro-industrial complex are confident that this year it will be possible to harvest a generous yield of at least 1.4 million tons from the grain and leguminous fields of Crimea.
