In Azerbaijan, farmers received the go-ahead for the production of cottonseed oil.
A local state project has allowed to develop this sector of the agricultural sector, and now farmers are thinking about how to increase cotton yields. They also ponder how to convince the authorities that this program is really potentially profitable.
The head of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Agriculture, Inam Karimov, is sure that several new enterprises in this area should be established at once to revive the production of cotton oil. And he added that no one plans to put the matter into a long box - in the city of Ujar, concrete steps are already being taken to build factories. In the new workshops, Azerbaijanis will be able not only to process cotton, but also to make oil from it.
“Not only will the market receive fiber-free cotton seeds and cottonseed oil, but the country's inhabitants will also get additional jobs,” Karimov emphasizes.
Baku experts are convinced that this step is a key moment in the history and economy of Azerbaijan.
Moreover, according to Inam Karimov, along with cotton production in the country, industries such as tobacco growing, rice cultivation, silk production, tea cultivation and production, viticulture and citrus fruit production are increasing at a rapid pace. - This has the best effect on job creation for rural residents regions, and also has a positive impact on the export capabilities of our state, ”the minister added.
