The other day, as part of a meeting of the Maryanovsky District Court (Omsk Region), a point was put in the case of injuring an employee of one of the farmers' enterprises in Siberia.
We are talking about a man who worked for a long time at the Omsky stud farm and, as a result of an accident, not only ended his career at this enterprise, but also lost his kidney.
It should be noted that the tragedy occurred last year. The investigation revealed many details of the plant. In particular, the fact that on the territory of the enterprise they neglect the observance of safety rules while employees of the plant are near animals.
As a result, one of the cows that is kept in Omsk strongly kicked the worker standing next to her. The victim was immediately hospitalized with injuries to the chest and abdomen. Unfortunately, the man’s kidney was also affected, which had to be urgently removed to save the patient’s life.
Since then, the Siberian lost his job, because due to his health, he can no longer fulfill the duties that were assigned to him at the factory. In addition, after surgery, a man must strictly control the complex process of his treatment under the supervision of doctors.
Having appealed to the court for help, the ex-employee of the breeding factory tried to assert his rights to material compensation, since the Omsk administration refused to pay for the treatment and damage caused to the man by the cow. The plant management was of the version that the victim was injured solely because of his own negligence.
However, the Maryanovsky court, having studied all the materials of the case, ruled that it was the administration that could not provide its employees with safe working conditions. As a result, the Omsk breeding plant should pay four hundred thousand rubles to its former employee as compensation for the damage caused.
