One of the representatives of the farmers' movement in the Astrakhan region recently shared an unusual picture with users of a popular social network.

The photograph shows the achievement of the Astrakhan agrarian - a potato tuber, which lies on the scales. The weight of this miracle of productivity is over one kilogram.

It is known that a giant potato appeared on a bed in the city of Kharabali. The tuber belongs to the variety "Arizona", which is widely popular among farmers of the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Moldova, the Republic of Belarus and other post-Soviet countries.

Arizona Potato Variety

"Arizona" refers to the drought-resistant early table varieties and traditionally bears fruit oval shaped tubers, the weight of which does not exceed one hundred and fifty grams. However, a farmer from Kharabali managed to create a real miracle in his garden.

It is noteworthy that since the registration of the variety in the state register in 2013, no one has managed to achieve such a mass of potatoes as that of an Astrakhan farmer.

The farmer shared a picture of his unique potato in the community “Overheard - Astrakhan”. Commentators praised the successful farmer and suggested that one such tuber could easily feed an entire family.
