From June 3, 2019, the supply of poultry meat grown by the forces of poultry farms in Northern Kazakhstan is again allowed on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Such information was shared by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
They also noted that the export of Kazakh chicken to Russia was resumed after the temporary restrictions on the sale, established by experts of the Rosselkhoznadzor, were lifted.
Based on information released by representatives of the regional chamber of entrepreneurs, about eight months ago, the Russian Federation suspended the purchase of poultry meat from the northern regions of Kazakhstan for an indefinite period, since a dangerous virus, Newcastle disease, which is also called Asian bird plague, was raging in earnest. .
It will not be superfluous to note that the Newcastle disease virus is practically not dangerous for human health and in some cases threatens with only signs of conjunctivitis and flu-like symptoms.
Fortunately, by the beginning of June of this year, the Kazakhs were able to completely prevent the attack of a dangerous disease. First of all, the virus was localized and eliminated in the village of Yelets, located in the Ayyrtau district of the North Kazakhstan region.
