Attackers often do not need reindeer meat, so the deer, who was hit on the head with an ax and horribly taken away horns, is left to die in the depths of the tundra. Thus, almost 80% of animals that have been taken away from antlers die.

As a result, the turnover of these illegal products on the black market is measured in millions of rubles, despite the fact that the fine for such activities is ridiculously ridiculous: only 5 thousand rubles.

The District Council of Deputies proposes to refresh the regional law "On Administrative Offenses" by introducing several new articles into it. For example, for villainous procurement, purchase, storage and transfer of antlers of wild Siberian deer, it is necessary to tax criminals-poachers with a fine of at least thirty thousand rubles. If a legal entity is suspected of conducting illegal activities, then the responsibility is more serious for him: fines up to half a million rubles. And cut-off antlers must be removed.
