An extraordinary event took place at one of the livestock farms of the Tomsk Region - the administration of the enterprise forbade the employees of the enterprise to shout at the livestock of cows and even more so to scold animals. The experimental “taboo” was bearing fruit very soon: it was reported that the cows, after they stopped scolding, increased the rate and volume of milk yield.
It is noted that such a "polite" approach to cows, the Tomsk breeders decided to adopt from their European colleagues and were surprised to note that correct behavior with horned animals really increases the "yield" of the cows.
From now on, the European approach to relations with cows is a fundamental principle of the Tomsk dairy farm, which may well serve as a positive example for other farm enterprises both in the Tomsk Region and in other regions of the Russian Federation. It is noteworthy that the courtesy and lack of swearing vocabulary in dealing with cows is an essential component of the work process at the above production. Otherwise, if the employee is forgotten and “in the old way” began recklessly throwing curses at the cow or shouting at her, the farm administration will impose a fine on the troublemaker. If one of the employees hits the burenka, the farm authorities will not stand on ceremony and immediately dismiss the “fighter”.
Today, in conditions without stress and aggression, calm Tomsk cows gratefully reward the milkmaids with generous milkings. Farm workers note that the livestock has become calmer in the general mass and is no longer afraid of people. One can only guess in what conditions the Tomsk livestock was kept before the introduction of the “ban ban”.
