There is a risk that China will turn away from the Ukrainian market in favor of the United States due to a trade agreement with this state. Then the popularity of Ukrainian products will fall. Due to the low price and lack of genetically modified organisms, Ukrainian corn is more attractive than an American product.
Recall that in the 2018/2019 marketing year, according to data as of February 27 of this year, Ukraine sold 15.8 million tons of corn abroad. In the same period of 2018, 6.2 million tons of corn grain were exported.
