The experts of the consulting company Deloitte, which has a strong international authority of the organization with a responsible approach, from February to March 2019 conducted potentially useful studies for the Russian economy in general and domestic food producers in particular.
The essence of the study was to determine whether the residents of the Russian Federation are satisfied with the quality of those consumer goods that are widely available on various trading floors of the country - in markets, in supermarkets, small and large wholesale and retail outlets.
The research started with a survey of the target group - respondents in the amount of 4000 people. The survey was conducted in the online format, and competent Deloitte staff was involved in summarizing the results.At the end of the study, a press conference was held at which the results were announced. Laura Nakoryakova, head of the research department of the consulting company, noted that, based on the results of the survey, the Russian consumer is generally satisfied with the quality of provisions presented on the Russian market.
Four out of five respondents gave a positive assessment of food products from the assortment of the general market. On average, respondents received high marks from such types of food products as: bottled water, pasta, cereals, and other domestic groceries.If we talk about those goods, the quality of which Russians are not always happy with, we can distinguish such food categories as: seafood, fish, sausages, frozen convenience foods and finished meat products.
