Orchards give only 0.5% of the crop. Such data were published by the Ukrainian Walnut Association. New walnut orchards in Ukraine began to be planted in the middle of zero. For example, President of the Association of Walnut Growers of Ukraine Volodymyr Pakhno says that most of the new gardens are laid in the Vinnitsa, Transcarpathian, Lviv, Dnepropetrovsk and Kherson regions. But the trees have not yet had time to grow in order to give a tangible harvest. And he is only 0.5% of the total mass of nuts collected in Ukraine. Where do these thousands of tons come from?

The fact that almost the entire walnut crop is collected from where it comes from depresses the agronomist. First of all, this affects the quality of the product, which he calls dubious.
